Shearing and Inspection

Once it has its backing in place, the carpet is sheared not once but twice. During this process the carpet is checked for pile height to make sure that it is correct.

The carpet then goes through a thorough inspection process before it is placed into stock. At Adam Carpets we also test every batch of every carpet we manufacture. So as soon as a carpet has started tufting a piece is cut for immediate testing. This allows us to make sure that it is to standard.

We then take another piece for testing straight after backing, to check it over thoroughly to ensure that it will meet the quality standards that we expect.
